Welcome Members and Visitors to the ACF Philadelphia Chapter website,
It is so hard to believe that December is already here. I hope that everyone is busy with company parties, special events and taking some time to reflect on the Holidays that are upon us.
I would like to wish all of our members and their families that celebrate Hanukkah, 8 days of happiness. Those members that Celebrate Christmas a very joyous celebration, and those members that celebrate Kwanza the Happiest.
Thank you to everyone that attended our November General Meeting at the Walnut Hill College founded as the Restaurant School, the dinner was simply wonderful and the students & chef instructors did an outstanding job. Thank you also to the college for providing the education.
December’s General Meeting will be at Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland, PA. This meeting will be our annual Toys for Tots Gift Giving Drive. As always I ask that you are generous with your donation of new toys for the children of the Delaware Valley. Not sure what to buy Gift cards or Cash donations are accepted.
The chapter last month also received the official letter from the IRS that we are now a 501(c)3 organization. We have been working very hard to achieve this and are very grateful for all that helped make this happen.
I look forward to see everyone on TUESDAY DECEMBER 7, 2021 at 7 pm for our last meeting for 2021, don’t forget we are having an ugly sweater/shirt contest at this meeting. We will have some very special education at this meeting by Chef Lorenzo from Umbria, Italy.
SAVE THE DATE: ACF Philadelphia President’s Scholarship Ball will be on Sunday March 6, 2022 at the ARTS BALLROOM, Philadelphia.
